Flaws and ALL – Beauty in Everything and Everyone

We all have had tragedy, laughter, sadness, anxiety, glorious times, rough times, some of us have suffered abuse, some of us have had an easier, happier ride in this life.  One of the many things we all have in common as humans is that at some point in time, we have passed judgment on someone, harshly, without knowing who they are, where they come from or their circumstances.  Judging folks, instead of being open minded to understanding them, looking for the beauty they posses, and finding out just what treasures they have to offer this world, will stunt our own growth, it will keep us from opening our hearts and minds to what is different, special, unique, WONDERFUL.  Judging people instead of getting to know them, only keeps us from connecting more, and from doing what we were all put on this earth to do, take care of and love each other.

I have had my fair share of it all, good, and bad, it has helped to mold me along my journey in this life.  Sure, are there some things I would change if I could, yes.  But we can’t change the past, we can only reflect and try to not repeat the same mistakes along the way, strive to be better at being human.  I am not perfect, I am not yet the best human I can be, I know this.  I have many flaws, as you will come to see here in this blog.  But as long as I keep trying to be open minded, strive for understanding, compassion and tolerance, then I am on the right road.  The same road we are all traveling together, and together, if we choose love instead of hate, we will all be in, and create, a better world for ourselves and those around us.

My HOPE would be for us all, to try and look past what we perceive as flaws, and instead, look for and find the beauty in each other.
