What makes us Human?

Aside from the obvious, here are some qualities that make us ALL Human.  Qualities we all posses regardless of age, sex, race, religion, sexual orientation, or size.  These qualities include Kindness, Mortal, Fallibility, Weakness, Strength, Imperfection, Vulnerability, Compassion, Sympathy, Understanding, Individual & TOLERANCE just to name a few.

I’ve always wondered why people can’t live and let live, why people have to force their beliefs and ways on the rest of the world.  Part of what separates us from other species, is the ability to reason, to learn, to grow, to try and see the world from the perspective of others, so we may understand, and accept what makes each of us the same, but different, and learn to see the beauty in all humans, flaws and all, they are part of what make us each Beautiful Individuals.

Our differences are what makes us each, special, unique, and an individual, the world would be a damn boring place if we were all the same, don’t ya think?.  So why do we judge each other so harshly?   Poke fun at people, condemn, criticize, JUDGE?  Because we are fallible, weak, imperfect, maybe we fear what is not like us, and what doesn’t fit with our upbringing.  But that is what makes this life so wonderful, no one is TIED to their upbringing, no one is chained to a certain way of thinking, we all have the ability, as I spoke of before to learn, grow and change our ideals, and our minds, to see the world from a totally different place.  Love.

To be human is to be a VAST variety of feelings and emotions, something we all share from the time we are born until the day we die.  So I ask you, next time you catch yourself starting to judge another human harshly, try and see the beauty in them instead, try to look past what you perceive is a flaw and look for the beauty in them, it’s there I promise you.

That is what makes us GOOD Humans!
